JP snatched a last-gasp pole from Tom Ingram ahead of his 500th BTCC race start. Sam Tordoff has an opportunity to capitalise in race one and put pay to team-mate Rob Collard's slender standings lead, with the latter lining up P18. The third portion of the West Surrey Racing triumvirate, Jack Goff managed a season-best fourth sport.
