In Pictures: Ash Sutton's Fifth BTCC Title

Ash Sutton wrote his name into the history books at Silverstone last weekend, becoming the first driver to win the British Touring Car Championship Drivers’ title on five occasions.

The NAPA Racing UK star sealed the record-breaking crown in fitting fashion, charging from 12th on the grid to victory in Round 26 and establishing an unassailable advantage at the top of the standings. It marked Sutton’s ninth win of a remarkable 2026 campaign and ensured he moved clear of fellow four-time Champions Andy Rouse and Colin Turkington in the record books.

The celebrations began immediately and continued throughout the remainder of a memorable day at Silverstone, with Sutton later adding another podium in the rain-soaked finale.
