Speedworks Motorsport Rising Stars has announced its intention to enter the PM Junior Championship in 2027.

The Rising Stars programme was created by Speedworks with one clear objective: to identify, develop and prepare the next generation of young drivers for a future in the British Touring Car Championship and GT racing.

The arrival of the PM Junior Championship on the BTCC package provides Speedworks Motorsport with an opportunity to take that philosophy another step forward. The purpose-built car will race on the same weekends as the BTCC, within a development environment that connects young drivers directly with a front-running professional race team.

The programme is structured around three key areas:

DEVELOP

Coaching, data, simulator, fitness, media, racecraft and career development.

RACE

The opportunity to compete on the biggest stage in British motorsport as part of the BTCC package.

PROGRESS

A genuine pathway towards the next stage of a driver’s career in the BTCC, GT racing and professional motorsport.

More than just a junior race programme, Speedworks Motorsport’s initiative is designed to develop the complete racing driver – on the track, off the track and in preparation for what comes next.
