Where to Watch: Croft

The 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship heads to North Yorkshire’s Croft Circuit this weekend (5/6 September) for the eighth event of the year as the season builds into the latter stages.

Following another action-packed weekend at Donington Park, the BTCC heads to Croft with Ash Sutton leading the way as the 2026 campaign enters its final three events.

The weekend gets underway with Free Practice, then we go straight into qualifying. Two groups of 15-minute sessions, split according to the finishing order from Free Practice between odd and even finishing positions. The group with the fastest time will take the odd-numbered grid spots for the Qualifying Race. 15 minutes after qualifying, the pit lane opens ahead of the ‘Race for Pole’. An 11-lap race will then take place with half points awarded, as the result forms the grid for the first of the traditional trio of races on Sunday.

Last time out, the 2026 grid headed to Donington Park for the seventh race weekend of the championship. After another action-packed Saturday, culminating in the all-new ‘Race to Pole’, Adam Morgan would start Sunday from the front before converting that advantage into victory in Race 1. Dan Cammish then struck back in Race 2, taking his second victory of the season, before Morgan returned to the top step in the final contest to complete a superb Donington Park double. Championship leader Ash Sutton would meanwhile continue to add to his points tally as the season moved another step closer to its conclusion.

This weekend’s race day action will feature on the home of the BTCC, ITV4, from 1115 on Sunday (6 September), while the ITV YouTube page will host the Qualifying Race and Qualifying on Saturday (5 September) from 1400.

As in 2025, each race day of the season – including all support series’ races – will be streamed LIVE around the globe on the BTCC YouTube channel, with the exception of the UK and North America, which have existing broadcast arrangements.

The BTCC will be aired LIVE in North America (US and Canada), continuing the multi-year agreement with the RACER Network, streaming live and on demand as part of a long-term agreement with the championship.

All 30 races are scheduled to air on the main RACER channel, whilst support series’ and extended BTCC highlights will be available to watch via the RACER+ App, the network’s premium motorsports streaming platform. Race 1 will begin at 07:10 Eastern Time (ET), with Race 2 following at 09:30 ET and Race 3 closing out the day’s racing at 12:15 ET.
