As we head into the sixth event of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship’s 2020 campaign, Silverstone is set to host another weekend jam-packed with edge-of-the-seat BTCC action.

With a change at the top of the standings, Laser Tools Racing’s Ash Sutton now sits at the summit of the Drivers’ Championship, while reigning champion Colin Turkington is 16 points in arrears. In third place, a further 16 points behind, Toyota man Tom Ingram will be looking to replicate his 2019 Silverstone success to continue to climb the order.

This week, as it was last time out at Thruxton, the BTCC will be broadcast live on ITV2 as well as the ITV hub, with qualifying available at itv.com/btcc on Saturday.
