The Autoglym Tin Top Tuesday podcast has this week added an additional episode to the series, with the much-loved face and voice of ITV Sport’s coverage of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, Steve Rider, chatting with Alan Hyde during the hour-long special.

Tonight’s episode was the result of Rider emailing TTT host Alan Hyde regarding some finds he had made during a clear-out of his shed during this “Stay Home” time,  which he thought would make great talking points on the hugely popular podcast series.

Not one to miss the opportunity of a rare interview with the sports broadcasting mogul, Hyde suggested they do an extra edition of the podcast in the form of a chat with just Rider. He could tell the story of his career, and the tales behind the items. The ITV man agreed and said he would like to auction them off for good causes.

The TTT team set off to work, setting up a remote interview and working to create a memorable episode, chatting about Rider’s career, broadcasting the BTCC and the ‘shed finds’.
