The BTCC headed north to Knockhill for the sixth event of the year, showcasing three spectacular races plus another thrilling Qualifying race in Scotland. The Fife rollercoaster delivered a frenetic, record-setting start to the second half of the season.
As the 2026 season continues to take full flight, take a listen to the sixth instalment of Tin Top Tuesday powered by Power Maxed, which was aired earlier this week (Tuesday, 11 August).
The podcast opened with none other than Adam Morgan (Cataclean Plato Racing), as the Mercedes A35 Saloon driver took the new outfit's maiden BTCC triumph. The Lancastrian also headed the team's first one-two on Sunday after taking the fastest time in Qualifying and pole position after finishing first in the 'Race to Pole' a day prior.
Oly Collins (Team Manager, NAPA Racing UK) was the next guest on the show, speaking on the Alliance Racing-run squad not taking time off over the traditional summer break. Collins also spoke on Ash Sutton's impressive seven wins so far this campaign, commending the crew behind the four-time champ for their efforts to support the championship leader.
Alan Hyde also caught up with Tom Chilton (Team VERTU) after the Hyundai i30 N racer took his 19th career BTCC victory, with the most recent race going the way of the #3. Dexter Patterson (Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing) was next on the show after a career-high weekend that saw the Scot's best single-race finish whilst also taking his highest-scoring weekend in the BTCC. Patterson's stablemate Aiden Moffat (LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing) also joined the show after a rollercoaster weekend left the Scot with a less-than-ideal result at his home venue.
Moffat and the rest of the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship grid head to Donington Park (22/23 August) for the second visit to the circuit this year, this time around the GP layout for the seventh race weekend of the campaign.
