As was said at the end of 2023, One Motorsport has made its return back to the BTCC after taking a sabbatical year in 2024. Running the familiar Honda Civic Type R, the Brackley-based team have run two models of the same car since 2018.

Initially competing in 2006 for a three year stint the team fielded Lexus IS 200s before making the switch to Seat Leons to close out the initial BTCC run.

After a brief return in 2014 the team would come back in full capacity for 2017 of which both years were run with the Chevrolet Cruze.

The culmination of this latest effort brought both Josh Cook and the team Indpendent Drivers’ and Teams’ titles in its last year before announcing a season long break.

Returning to the grid once more with a returning driver in Cook, who ended up topping the timesheets for the squad in the final test heading into the 2025 season. Partnering with the #66 was Stephen Jelley for the opening half of the campaign. One Motorsport announced in the mid-season break that it will not take part in events six and seven of the year.
