This Sunday (26 April), Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship fans will have access to a behind the scenes look at the Team Dynamics Motorsport workshop and office facilities, as the 2019 Teams' titleholders put on an exclusive tour on the squad's Facebook page.
Team Manager James Rodgers will do a walkthrough of the heart of what makes the team tick and give a tour of not only their 2020 BTCC protagonist, their Honda Type R FK8 BTCC car, but also a look at the entire design, production and manufacturing plant.
The state of the art facilities were completely tailor-made to the requirements of the race team three years ago, including bespoke LED lighting (with operating theatre light intensity), personalised workbenches from a major supplier to many F1 teams in Italy and a self-levelling floor.
The tour, which starts at 1100, will conclude with a live Q&A session on Facebook, before the BTCC Race Day with a Difference stream begins at 1300, ensuring fans get a high level of behind the scenes insight before their fix of racing action.
“We wanted to do something a bit different for the BTCC fans who are currently all patiently isolating at home and waiting for the season to begin," said Rogers. "We’ve got a great facility at Team Dynamics and wanted to give people an insight into what goes into developing a championship-contending racecar”
