MB Motorsport accelerated by Blue Square has today (04 February) announced that multiple BTCC race-winner Ollie Jackson will complete its 2021 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship driver line-up alongside the already confirmed Jake Hill.
Jackson joins the team fresh from his most successful season in the BTCC to date, claiming his maiden victory in the series at Silverstone last September before going on to triumph again at Snetterton during the penultimate race weekend of the 2020 campaign.
A familiar face in the paddock, the 36-year-old made his BTCC debut back in 2011 and has since developed into a regular points-scorer – finishing a career-best 12th in the Drivers’ Championship with Motorbase Performance last season.
At the wheel of the Ford Focus ST during his multiple race-winning campaign in 2020, Jackson’s knowledge and experience of the car will prove invaluable as the team looks to hit the ground running with its new machinery. Thanks to the squad’s technical partnership with Motorbase Performance, the BRDC member is well-placed to strengthen the successful relationships already established.
Riding a wave of momentum sparked by his success last season, Jackson can’t wait to get the new campaign underway in this year’s curtain-raiser at Thruxton on 8/9 May.

I got on really well with the Ford Focus ST and now have the opportunity to take that success to another level in 2021.
“I’m also really pleased that the make-up of the team will allow me to continue working with the majority of the personnel from last year as well as Shaun [Hollamby] – who helped me to secure my first podium back in 2018 – once more. We’ve a great relationship and with his and Mark [Blundell’s] leadership, I’m certain we’ll have a lot to smile about in the year ahead. It’s an exciting time!”
