In just a few days time, the final event of the 2023 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship will get underway on the Brands Hatch GP circuit (7/8 October).
The Kent-based track, known for its unique combination of dips, cambers and fearsome corners, promises plenty of tin-top action across Rounds 28, 29 and 30, before the respective Champions will be crowned and the 2023 season will come to a close.
In the meantime, if you are looking for some extra BTCC content, you can catch-up with the ninth TinTop Tuesday episode of the season that was aired last Tuesday (26 September).
The podcast hosted plenty of familiar faces, and Silverstone's pole-sitter Mikey Doble (CarStore Power Maxed Racing) was first up.
"The emotions and the highs from getting that pole position is something I have never experienced in my racing career," said Doble. "We've done some pretty amazing things by winning championships and that, but to get a career pole in the BTCC in your rookie season is something few people get to achieve."
Defending Champion Tom Ingram (BRISTOL STREET MOTORS with EXCELR8) was up next, covering everything from food, to house renovations, to some personal anecdotes from behind the scenes in the BTCC paddock.
Hyde also caught-up with NAPA Racing UK's Dan Rowbottom after his second-place finish during the opening bout at Silverstone, as well as Nick Halstead (BRISTOL STREET MOTORS with EXCELR8) about his season so far.
