Listen Again: Tin Top Tuesday powered by Power Maxed - Silverstone

The BTCC arrived at Silverstone for the penultimate event of the year, showcasing three spectacular races plus another thrilling Qualifying Race in Northamptonshire. The weekend proved a pivotal chapter in the story of the 2026 campaign.

As the season continues towards its climax, take a listen to the eighth instalment of Tin Top Tuesday powered by Power Maxed, which was aired earlier this week (Tuesday, 29 September).

The podcast opened with none other than Mikey Doble (LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing), fresh from his Race to Pole and Race 1 successes. The two-time winner in 2026 spoke about the evolution of the new Audi, his consistent campaign and growing confidence in the BTCC, as well as his battle for the Independent Drivers’ Championship and his hopes for the final event of the season.

Tim Harvey (1992 BTCC Champion & ITV Broadcaster) was the next guest on the show, reflecting on his love for the sport and the research he puts in to every weekend through being so immersed in the paddock. Harvey discussed the narrative around the 2026 season and his praise for Ash Sutton's record-breaking year.

Alan Hyde also caught up with Aiden Moffat (LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing), after a season-high at Silverstone as the man, one day after celebrating his 30th birthday, walked away as the top points scorer, speaking to Hyde after days of celebration.

Alan Gow (BTCC Chief Executive) was next on the show, speaking on Ash Sutton's fantastic achievement, clinching his fifth BTCC title at Silverstone, along with the current landscape of the championship and looking ahead at what's to come... Including Dr. Paul Trafford's Christmas Dinner.

The 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship grid now heads to Brands Hatch (10/11 October) for the final event of the campaign.
