Kwik Fit BTCC gets underway at Goodwood FoS

13th July 2023

The Kwik Fit BTCC exhibition stand was opened at the Festival of Speed earlier today (13 July) as a plethora of activities kicked off four days of fun, at the world’s biggest car festival.

No fewer than seven current BTCC drivers made appearances on the stand as the likes of three-time champion Ash Sutton and Toyota star Ricky Collard helped launch proceedings.

A series of Q&As, autograph sessions and sim battles took place, with reigning champ Tom Ingram winning the opening contest in the Motorsport Games-run BTCC Esports race.

Both Dan Cammish and Dan Rowbottom were ever present during the day, whilst Sam Osborne and Ronan Pearson also starred.

Rory Butcher and Osborne both enjoyed runs up the hill in their Toyota and Ford BTCC machinery respectively, with the UK’s premier motorsport championship spanning all four corners of the show.

There was a special moment when Nic Hamilton’s one-off Goodwood livery was revealed as his striking white, gold and black look wowed onlookers.

Kwik Fit and the BTCC will be back to do it all again tomorrow with action getting underway from 0800-1800.
