This weekend (23/24 September), the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship heads to Silverstone for its penultimate event of the season!

Ahead of all the upcoming action, here are a few of the key statistics and milestones you can look out for throughout the event...

  • There is a strong history for BRISTOL STREET MOTORS with EXCELR8's Tom Ingram on the track, having secured six wins there across his BTCC career, including the victory in 2022 that maintained his title challenge.
  • Dan Cammish, NAPA Racing UK, holds the current Qualifying record set in 2020, with a 57.349s (102.97mph).
  • While Jake Hill (Laser Tools with MB Motorsport) set a new race record in 2022 with a 57.582s (102.56mph).
  • With 78 podiums total across his BTCC career, Ash Sutton (NAPA Racing UK) could be looking to secure his 80th trip to the rostrum across the weekend.
  • Last years pole-sitter, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK's Rory Butcher, has claimed three BTCC wins on the Silverstone National layout. After recently securing his first victory of the 2023 season at Donington GP (26/27 August), he'll be looking to keep up his momentum on the Northamptionshire track.

Qualifying coverage is set to get underway on ITV Sport's YouTube channel from 1530 on Saturday (23 September).
