Reigning Dunlop MSA British Touring Car champion Andrew Jordan is planning to make an all-out assault on the tight and tricky Knockhill circuit this weekend. In the two weather-affected free practice sessions this morning Jordan was running inside the top ten.
Speaking ahead of qualifying the Pirtek Racing driver said, “We’re aiming for the top three. It’s hard to know where everyone else after the two practice sessions – we’ve still got some things to improve on our car, it’s not quite where we need it but it’s probably similar for everyone with the weather this morning.
“We’re definitely going for it – we’ve got nothing to lose now, we’ve got to have some fun now and see where we can end up. It’s a challenging circuit for driver and car. I need to capitalise on any little bit of misfortune, but all I can do is work hard and finish as high up as possible in all three races tomorrow.”
