Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport will head to Thruxton this weekend (3/4 June) for round four of the 2023 Championship.
Boasting the highest average speed of any circuit visited, Thruxton is a real test as the drivers control their cars on a knife-edge throughout the 2.36-mile circuit.
Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport and Jake Hill head to the Hampshire circuit off the back of a strong points-scoring weekend at Snetterton, in event three, which saw a brace of second-place finishes followed by a third top-ten result in race three. Across the weekend, Hill collected 40 points to mark his best round so far in 2023.
Thruxton has been a happy hunting ground for Hill and MB Motorsport in recent years, with the previous nine races at the circuit resulting in five podiums and a healthy collection of points.
Hill, in his WSR-run BMW 330e M Sport, currently sits tied for 4th in the Drivers' Championship with 98 points with seven rounds and 21 races still left to contest.
"Heading to Thruxton this week, we are all extremely motivated to kick on and continue building on our positive start to the season,” said Jake Hill, “Snetterton was our best weekend of the season so far and lays a great foundation for us to build on as we head into round four.
“The last few trips to Thruxton have been successful and I really enjoy the challenge of driving the circuit, it's certainly not for the faint-hearted! The goal this weekend is to score as many points as possible and to cut the gap in the Drivers' Championship."
All three races take place on Sunday, with live coverage available on ITV4 and online at ITVX. The races are scheduled for 1145 (BST), 1435, and 1720 respectively.
