Every single circuit on the first half of the 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship calendar has seen a different driver secure pole position. Undoubtedly highlighting the sheer competitiveness of the current series, the fight for top spot on Saturday has intensified and we’re sure to see more drivers taking the bragging rights in the second half of the season.

Brands Hatch Indy
The first opportunity of 2015 for drivers and teams to show their true pace, there was a typically sensational BTCC start as returning triple world champion Andy Priaulx grabbed the headlines with a stunning lap in his BMW 125i M Sport. The only qualifying session of the year where there’s no success ballast also carries some extra kudos…

Donington Park
Reigning champion Colin Turkington shows that it doesn’t take him long to acclimatise to a new team and car. His lap in the Team BMR VW CC eclipsed the field by just 0.063s. Perhaps the story of the weekend, though, was Power Maxed Racing’s Josh Cook, who almost grabbed a sensational victory after a thrilling battle with Aron Smith – ride along with him in the video below…

The Island circuit at Oulton Park is undulating, tight and requires a great set-up and precision driving. It was another incredibly close session with Matt Neal and Priaulx within a tenth of the outright pace, but it was Oulton specialist Jason Plato who grabbed his first pole for Team BMR making it a hat-trick for the squad…
