Kicking off this week’s Driver Spotlights is 2021 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship rookie Rick Parfitt. 

Having announced his series debut back in February, Parfitt bagged his best result in his first BTCC event, with 16^th place in race three at Thruxton, and went on to secure a number of top 20 finishes. 

After being advised to rest during the rounds at Croft due to an ongoing back problem, Parfitt was eager to return to the grid for the remainder of the campaign, enjoying a number of battles in the final three events.
