Jess Hawkins made her second appearance on the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship grid in 2021, taking the place of Racing with Wera & Photon Group driver Andy Neate during Snetterton’s rounds.
The event marked an historic moment as it became the first time two females contested a BTCC race since 2001.
Hawkins bagged 17th during qualifying on the 2.97-mile circuit, but a trio of self-proclaimed ‘bad starts’ saw her drop down the order during Sunday’s races.
