BTCC primed and ready at Brands Hatch

28th March 2014

The 2014 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship gets underway this weekend (29/30 March) at Brands Hatch in Kent after a sensational winter of high-profile announcements. The enormous grid is packed with talent, and with the first competitive timed session being tomorrow’s qualifying, the championship is primed for another special season.

The BTCC’s supporting cast of race series, including the Porsche Carerra Cup GB, Renault Clio Cup UK and Ginetta GT4 Supercup, took to the track today for their practice sessions, while the BTCC cars and drivers eagerly await their first sessions tomorrow morning. The first free practice session will be at 10:00, with FP2 at 12:40 before that all important qualifying session at 15:40. As was the case in 2013, qualifying will be streamed live via the ITV BTCC website, with commentary provided by Tim Harvey and David Addison. For the first time ever, fans will be able to listen to the entire day’s circuit commentary via the re-launched TOCA Radio which will stream live around the world on the BTCC website from around 9:00 tomorrow.

In the meantime you can brush up on all the teams and drivers for this year’s championship on the brand new team and driver pages.
