BTCC on TV: Thruxton

1st June 2023

The fourth event of the 2023 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship gets underway this weekend at Thruxton (3/4 June). Below is all the information you need to know to keep up with the tin-top action…

A fortnight ago, the Snetterton 300 circuit welcomed the BTCC teams and drivers for the third instalment of this year’s Championship, providing the unique challenge of being the longest track on the current calendar.

NAPA Racing UK’s Ash Sutton scored a double triumph across the first two races, after securing pole position in Saturday’s Qualifying session. His success landed in him on top of the Drivers' Standings, with a seven point lead ahead of his nearest rival Tom Ingram (BRISTOL STREET MOTORS with EXCELR8).

NAPA Racing UK continue to lead the Teams/ Constructors' Standings; the team have taken all three available pole positions in the season thus far, with three different drivers.

After securing two Independents wins in races one and three, Josh Cook now leads the Independent Drivers battle, while Autobrite Direct with Millers Oils remain top of the Independent Teams.

Sam Osborne continues to lead the contest for the Jack Sears Trophy, after taking another JST honour in race two.

However, with just over half a season remaining, all is still to play for...
