The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship will be one of the starring attractions at this week’s Autosport International (9-12 January) at the NEC in Birmingham.
The BTCC boasts one of the major features at the show with a special Dunlop stand hosting four cars and a whole host of interviews and autograph sessions.
Rob Austin will be kicking proceedings off on Thursday morning as he unveils his 2014 Audi A4 in an all-new livery for the Rockingham race winner. Next up is newcomer Simon Belcher who’ll be showing off his striking Handy Motorsport Toyota Avensis. The stand also includes the last two championship winning machines as Gordon Shedden’s Honda Civic makes its final appearance, whilst Andrew Jordan’s Pirtek Racing car takes centre stage!
There’ll be further announcements from Welch Motorsport and Rotek Racing on the opening day before a whole host of BTCC stars visit the stage over the four days in a series of interviews and signing sessions hosted by our very own Alan Hyde.
The BTCC will also star on the main Autosport Stage with Series Director making an exciting announcement at 12:15 on Thursday. The likes of Andrew Jordan, Matt Neal, Gordon Shedden, Jason Plato, Colin Turkington and Rob Austin are among the drivers who’ll also be making appearances on the main stage over the course of the weekend.
The best time to catch all the BTCC drivers in one place will be at 12:15 on Saturday where all our racers who are present will be on our stand for a group autograph session.
