Power Maxed Racing Unveil 2015 BTCC Livery

23rd March 2015

BTCC team Power Maxed Racing are proud to unveil their 2015 BTCC 3M livery that will be used as a base design by Josh Cook and Dave Newsham for their title challenges. The livery has been developed with vehicle branding specialists Joyce Design with support from 3M’s Commercial Graphics Division.

Both Power Maxed Racing cars, #17 driven by Dave Newsham and #66 driven by Josh Cook will run the same Power Maxed-inspired base livery with each car being given space for the drivers personal sponsors.

Working with top UK vehicle wrapping company Joyce Design and with support from 3M, Power Maxed Racing have been able to push the boundaries of racing livery and develop a truly unique wrap for 2015. The livery utilises the latest IJ180 Controltac Graphics Film, more often found on high end vehicle wraps therefore equally at home with the robust racing in the BTCC.

Joyce Design are highly experienced vehicle graphics company with an international client base, having worked with some big names including McLaren, Lady Gaga, Damien Hurst and Top Gear.

Russell Joyce commented, “When we were approached by Power Maxed Racing to support them again for the 2015 season, it was an easy decision to make. We love our motorsport and operate in a wide variety of formula, plus we know how to make a visually stunning but highly practical livery.”

Adam Weaver, Power Maxed Racing Team Principal commented, “The BTCC is an exceptional marketing platform and the livery plays a critical part in this. We had to work with the best and the results speak for themselves, Joyce Design and 3M have done an amazing job.”

Weaver continued, “The livery is the personification of the change’s we have gone through for our 2015 season. We have left no stone unturned in our preparations for the year ahead and have employed the best in British motorsport to make sure we have a strong chance at many podiums.”

The cars will be on show to the public at the BTCC Season Launch on the 24th March at Donington Park where Josh Cook’s Racing for Heroes, Help for Heroes official charity partner, livery will be unveiled for the first time.
