Laser Tools Racing heads to Brands Hatch this weekend (26/27 June) in confident mood, as the reigning Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship Independent squad tops the overall Teams’ Standings following a successful outing at Snetterton. 

Having bagged a win and second place at the Norfolk circuit, titleholder Ash Sutton sits at the summit of the Drivers’ table and will look to add to his podium – and victory – tally on Brands Hatch’s Indy configuration, where he stood on the top step of the podium last year. 

Laser Tools Racing stablemate Aiden Moffat, who claimed three points-finishes on the 1.2-mile course during the 2020 Season Finale, currently sits in the top ten on the Independent Drivers’ table, while Carl Boardley will be aiming to move his way up the Jack Sears Trophy order as he continues to gain experience in the Infiniti Q50. 

The West Lothian-based squad is keen to build on the performance displayed last time out and is confident of strong results at Brands Hatch as it pushes on from a positive start to the campaign, having secured a total of 11 points-finishes during the first two events of 2021. 

While Saturday's qualifying session will be streamed live, as always, over at itv.com/btcc from 1505, this weekend the BTCC moves to ITV3 for its race day coverage on Sunday, kicking off at 1100.
