WIX oil Filters have been fitted as standard to all TOCA engines in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship after a partnership was agreed recently.
The deal commenced with last weekend’s event at Snetterton and will run until the end of 2014 and beyond.
Live environment testing was carried out during the first half of the BTCC season to ensure that the filter could withstand the pressures of the high performance motorsport engine and operate effectively and efficiently at all times.
Following extensive testing the decision was made to switch to WIX Filters on all TOCA engines during their mid-season services.
“WIX approached us with their oil filter products and having now tested them extensively, we found filtration quality to be excellent with very good durability in a challenging environment. We have therefore decided to fit WIX oil Filters as a matter of course from now on,” commented Raphael Caille of Swindon Engines.
“We are delighted to be associated and supplying WIX oil Filters for the BTCC TOCA approved Engine. Their pedigree in motor sport and cutting edge development team is extremely impressive and we are proud to be able to supply the Filters as part of it,” said Wayne Stevens, Managing Director, WIX Filters.
