Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport is delighted to announce the signing of three-time BTCC champion, Gordon Shedden, to complete the team’s two-car driver lineup for the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship. The Scotsman joins the team looking to add to his impressive BTCC résumé, which has seen him collect 53 race wins, placing him fifth on the all-time winners list.
Shedden’s incredible ability behind the wheel is well known, and he also brings fantastic experience to the team, including a season’s worth of running behind the wheel of a TOYOTA Corolla last year as Shedden made a much-anticipated return to the grid. His comeback season was highlighted by a fantastic race three victory at Oulton Park and a strong end to the season, which saw Shedden collect two podiums and four top-five finishes in the last eight races of the season.
A fierce competitor, the fan favourite returns to the grid once again in 2026, this time in the Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport colours, determined to make his mark at the sharp end of the grid.
