Donington Park set the scene for a rollercoaster weekend that kicked the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship into life.

The Leicestershire-based circuit delivered once again with its formidable undulating characteristics coming to light. The new lighter, faster cars hit the forefront of the ITV coverage as Race Lap Records were smashed.

As we begin the new season and before our first trip to Brands Hatch (10-11 May), take a listen to the latest instalment of TinTop Tuesday that was aired earlier this week (Tuesday 29 April).

The podcast hosted a number of familiar voices with Dan Rowbottom (NAPA Racing UK), igniting his season with a podium in the first race of the year, being the first guest on the show.

“If I win that championship by finishing fourth in 30 races, I can hold my head up as high as anyone at the TOCA awards knowing that I did what I set out to achieve.” Said Rowbottom. “ The target is to get to Brands, in the hunt, for the championship and that is it.”

Ash Sutton (NAPA Racing UK) is the next guest on the show, leading the championship after the four-time champion’s strongest opening to weekend in his 10th year of BTCC racing. The #116 talks opening weekend traditions, sandbagging at pre-season testing, and much more.

Alan Hyde also caught up with Tom Ingram (Team Vertu) the man sat on the heels of Sutton after the opening weekend. Along with Ingram, John Cleland (BTCC Legend) also joined the show with BTCC newcomer Charles Rainford.
