During the 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, we saw Will Powell make his series debut, piloting the second Autobrite Direct with JourneyHero Cupra Leon with Team HARD. Racing. 

Having joined the squad’s line-up in mid-May, there was little opportunity for the 37-year-old to test the #20 machine away from the high-pressure race weekend setting, resulting in Powell having to learn the ropes during races. 

However, Powell’s experience across multiple UK championships prevailed, showing true flashes of pace and discipline, regularly battling towards the top 20.
