The 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship marked Butel’s second season with the team, as he piloted the Hyundai i30N.

The Jersey racer secured a handful of top 20 finishes across the season and finished in the points during Thruxton's second event of the campaign.

The 26-year-old also claimed his second Jack Sears Trophy honour at Thruxton, after a masterclass drive saw him move six places up the grid into the points, even with earlier damage to his car.
