WSR and LKQ Euro Car Parts join forces for 2025

13th December 2024

WSR has today (13 December) announced an exciting new partnership with LKQ Euro Car Parts that will spearhead a two-car team for the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.

This new agreement brings together 18-time BTCC title winners WSR and LKQ Euro Car Parts; the leading distributor of car, LCV and speciality parts across the trade, retail and collision sectors in the UK and Ireland.

A pair of BMW 330i M Sport race cars, the likes of which propelled Jake Hill to the 2024 BTCC Drivers’ title and helped BMW secure a record-breaking 10th Manufacturers’ crown, will carry title branding from LKQ Euro Car Parts across the year.

Drivers for the programme will be announced in due course.

Dick Bennetts, WSR Team Principal, said: “We are delighted to announce this exciting new partnership with LKQ Euro Car Parts, who share many similarities with WSR; in particular, our determination to do the best at whatever we do and our commitment to innovation and efficiency. Their commitment to WSR shows the huge commercial value of winning the BTCC and should be a message to any brands aiming to expand their horizons that this series provides a magnificent platform to do it.”

Colin Cottrell, Group Marketing Director, LKQ Euro Car Parts, said: “It’s a privilege and a pleasure for LKQ Euro Car Parts to be in partnership with WSR at the heart of the British Touring Car Championship. No doubt fans and drivers alike can’t wait for the season to start. I know we’re very excited so watch this space!”
