The BTCC experienced one of its wettest qualifying sessions in recent years and it all came at the ultra-fast Thruxton circuit on Saturday.
We had thrills and spills throughout the field, but when the chequered flag fell it was Ash Sutton's who secured his 14th career pole and his first P1 since his title winning 2023 campaign.
Title rival Tom Ingram will line-up alongside Sutton on the front row for today's opener, whilst Dan Cammish will start third on the grid... we caught up with the top three drivers to get their thoughts:
