Power Maxed Racing full of hope ahead of Donington

29th August 2025

Motor Parts Direct with Power Maxed Racing head to Donington Park for Rounds 22, 23 and 24 of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship this weekend (30/31 August) full of determination and hope.

Just a few short weeks ago, the team suffered a devastating fire that destroyed its facility. Many thought it would be impossible to come back so soon, but through sheer grit, passion, and an unbreakable spirit, the crew refused to give up and against all odds the team fielded two cars at Knockhill.

Since then, the boys and girls at PMR have worked night and day, stripping and rebuilding the Cupras, and they’re now ready for action at Donington Park.

The goals for the team are clear: to push for solid points finishes, to see Mikey Doble back fighting at the top of the Independents’ standings, and to show once again that Power Maxed Racing will never be beaten by adversity.

Adam Weaver, Team Principal, said: “We’ve never been a team that just turns up to make up the numbers. We’re here to race, to fight, and to win. What the crew has achieved in such a short space of time is nothing short of incredible. They’ve poured their hearts into these cars, and we want nothing more than to repay them — and our amazing fans — with results. The support we’ve had since the fire has been overwhelming, and it’s reminded us exactly why we do this.”
