Team VERTU's Tom Ingram topped the times in the final Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship free practice session at Snetterton.
The #80 Hyundai racer has looked extremely confident in both sessions – boycotting his fastest lap in wet conditions earlier this morning before hitting the front on Goodyear dry tyres in the second practice run.
With conditions now dry, but overcast, Ingram's 1:54.509s effort has already eclipsed Ash Sutton's 2023 qualifying lap record, and he was some way clear of the chasing pack in FP2.
That pack was impressively led by Restart Racing's Daniel Lloyd, as he pipped Motor Parts Direct with Power Maxed Racing's Mikey Doble by 0.003s.
Dan Cammish (NAPA Racing UK), Adam Morgan (Team VERTU) and Jake Hill (Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport) were fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
Gordon Shedden left it late to fire his TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK with IAA Corolla up to seventh, encouraging pace shown by the three-time champion after a challenging opening two weekends for the Speedworks-run squad.
Chris Smiley confirmed the pace of the Restart Racing Hyundais with eighth, whilst the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK with IAA's Aron Taylor-Smith and James Dorlin rounded out the top ten.
Qualifying for Round 7 of the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship commences at 1510 and will be streamed live on the ITV Sport YouTube channel.
