HP will partner with Mark Blundell in his debut Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship campaign, signalling the global technology leader’s first involvement in the UK's premier motorsport series.
HP will take the primary branding positions on Blundell’s #8 Trade Price Cars Racing Audi S3 Saloon throughout the 2019 season. The 1992 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, is proud to be flying the flag and is looking forward to many of the exciting plans already in place across the calendar year.
“I am delighted to be working alongside HP across the 2019 BTCC season in what promises to be a year of firsts for us all!" he said. "Coming into a new series is a difficult challenge at the best of times but I am hoping that my experience coupled with HP’s enthusiasm will make it a really memorable year.
"HP’s success across the globe has been built upon a desire to reinvent what is possible at every turn, something I will be doing at every opportunity both on and off the track this year!”
The global technology company is a household name, and will sit among the most widely-recognised brands on the grid, with HP UK and Ireland Consumer Director MacDonald intimating that the brand shares many synergies with the values of the championship itself.
“Mark’s return to the elite-level competition has certainly caught attention and HP is delighted to be supporting him and his team this year," said MacDonald. "The British Touring Car Championship has been a leading spectacle for UK sports fans for over sixty years now and we are looking forward to maximising the opportunities that our partnership will provide.”
Constantly pushing the limits and reinventing what is possible, HP’s vision is to create technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere. To invent, and to reinvent.
Amazing experiences are one thing that the loyal and passionate BTCC fan-base can expect from what promises to be one of its most exciting seasons in recent memory.
