Adam Morgan’s motorsport journey began in karting and historic rallying before transitioning to circuit racing in the Mazda Championship and Ginetta G20 Cup. In 2011, driving for Ciceley Racing, he clinched the inaugural Ginetta GT Supercup title, which secured him a BTCC drive.
Morgan debuted in the BTCC in 2012 with Speedworks Motorsport, driving a Toyota Avensis. He achieved a best result of eighth place at Silverstone. In 2013, he returned to Ciceley Racing and made significant progress, finishing seventh overall and earning a podium at Oulton Park. The following year, Morgan drove a new Mercedes A-Class and secured his first BTCC victory at Brands Hatch.
His best season came in 2015, with a win at Thruxton and six podiums, finishing seventh in the standings. The 2016 season saw Morgan open with a win and another victory at Thruxton, placing ninth overall. In 2017, he earned four podiums, and in 2018, he claimed three victories at Donington Park, Thruxton, and Rockingham, finishing seventh once more.
Morgan continued with Ciceley Motorsport in 2019, securing four podiums throughout the season. The following year, he added another victory at Oulton Park. In 2021, with Ciceley switching to BMW 330i M Sports, Morgan adapted quickly, taking two wins.
In 2022, Morgan celebrated his 300th BTCC race during the second contest at Thruxton and marked the milestone with a victory. In 2023, he made a significant move to the manufacturer-backed WSR, joining Colin Turkington and Stephen Jelley at Team BMW. That year, Morgan surpassed 350 BTCC races, adding four more podiums to his career.
In 2024, Morgan continues with WSR, alongside Turkington, as he enters his 13th BTCC season, looking to build on his impressive career.
