Autobrite Direct with JourneyHero's Bobby Thompson claimed the Jack Sears Trophy at Brands Hatch after a closely-fought battle with rival George Gamble.

The pair were regularly separated by mere points between events during the 2022 campaign, but consistent scoring for Thompson put the Team HARD. Racing man ahead when it mattered and as the sun set at Brands Hatch last weekend he was 35 points clear.

Overall, this year marks Thompson's best performance in his BTCC career, as he garnered nearly as many points in 2022 as he had in all three of his previous seasons contested, as well as securing his first-ever rostrum finish.
