More than seven hours of airtime from Oulton Park this weekend

ITV is preparing for an extraordinary weekend of sport ahead (6/7 June) with all three Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship races from Oulton Park among the live action being beamed across the UK by the broadcasting giant.

The BTCC will of course continue to star on the ITV network with more than seven hours of coverage coming for Oulton Park across the weekend.

Qualifying will be streamed live via www.itv.com/btcc on Saturday afternoon before ITV4’s live television coverage commences at 11:15 on Sunday morning for the usual preview and race one action. There will be a break in the transmission between 13:30-15:15 as the channel’s coverage of the Men’s Tennis Final from Paris gets underway but you won’t miss a minute of the BTCC battles in Cheshire.

ITV4 will be back live from Oulton Park at 15:15 until 18:30, which will includes races two and three plus a number of support races. ITV’s commitment to the BTCC and its support races is further cemented with a special Motorsport UK Extra programme, which will be a 90-minute programme aired on ITV4 at 22:00 on Sunday featuring all the unseen support races from earlier in the day.

As ever the action will also be streamed live via the ITV website with www.itv.com/btcc also hosting the BTCC races to watch at your leisure from Sunday evening onwards. As always, highlights will follow on ITV and ITV4 from Saturday 13 June while the ITV Player will host the same programme for 30 days from its original broadcast.
