BTCC 2022: ACCOLADE TRACKER

22nd November 2022

Who were the drivers to be reckoned with during the 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship? Our Accolade Tracker reveals all – with every driver who’s achieved a podium, pole position, fastest lap or point for leading a lap included.

While eventual champion Tom Ingram is expectedly ahead of the rest on the tracker, interestingly, runner-up Ash Sutton and fifth-placed Rory Butcher both have noticeably fewer accolades to their names in 2022 than some of the rivals they outscored in the overall title battle, highlighting their consistent points-finishes throughout the 30 rounds.

An impressive six victories for Ingram clearly solidified his maiden championship, while Jake Hill's nine second-place finishes trumps the rest of the grid's tallies during the campaign.

Ingram also notched the most points for fastest laps and laps led, with Team BMW's Colin Turkington clinching the most pole positions in 2022.

It's little surprise that Hill concludes the season with the highest number of rostrum results, testament to his affinity with the BMW 330e M Sport.
