Tickets for the second event of the 2014 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Donington Park are now on sale. The Leicestershire circuit – which will play host to the BTCC on the weekend of 19/20 April – is the fifth to make its tickets available, meaning that you can now book your place at half of next year’s rounds.
In 2013 Donington Park saw some great racing and incredible milestones. It was the scene of eventual champion Andrew Jordan’s first victory of the year, as well as a maiden victory for Colin Turkington in the new BMW 1 Series. In the second contest of the day, Jason Plato and Matt Neal passed through astonishing records of 400 and 500 respective BTCC races in a year in which both would once again go on to challenge for the overall title until the final event. The iconic Leicestershire venue is once again sure to host three thrilling races as well as a wealth of supporting action.
2014 will also see Donington Park hold the championship Media Day and the only official test session on 18 March. The afternoon’s testing will be the first opportunity for the public to get a first-hand look at the 2014 grid in action.
Race day admission for adults starts at £25, while children 13 and under go free if accompanied by a paying adult. For more information about tickets for 2014, head to the Donington Park website here: www.bit.ly/1b2Fssj
