With a new driver joining the ranks for the latest rounds of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, Racing with Wera & Photon Group headed to Norfolk’s Snetterton 300 Circuit ready for what proved to be a sweltering weekend.
It was a trio of top 20 finishes for Sam Osborne, who took his first points on the Goodyear Wingfoot Award table during qualifying with 14th.
The 28-year-old continued his Jack Sears Trophy fight, bagging second and a pair of third-place class finishes and ending the weekend second in the standings.
New recruit Jessica Hawkins continued to add to her BTCC experience, having joined the team just for a one-off guest drive. Hawkins, who previously took part in last year’s race weekend at Snetterton, secured 17th spot in qualifying but, after three self-proclaimed ‘bad starts’, dropped down the order during Sunday’s races.
Check out the video below to find out what the pair thought of the weekend, as well as the opinions of Jake Hill and Ollie Jackson of Motorbase Performance-run sister squad MB Motorsport accelerated by Blue Square.
