Warren Scott suffered two fractured vertebrae as a consequence of his accident during free practice one at Silverstone earlier today. 

Scott is currently being treated at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, but may well return to the circuit later this afternoon.

While the full extent and recovery times are not yet known, the injuries sustained mean that Warren will not be taking any further part in the event at Silverstone.
