The Independent battle is on, the contenders are primed. With just one event remaining in the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season, the Independent Drivers' Championship has come down to a three-way thriller. Daniel Lloyd, Mikey Doble, and Chris Smiley will go head-to-head-to-head at Brands Hatch with just 13 points separating them.

Lloyd arrives as the championship leader with 377 points and six victories to his name. Close behind is 2024 Jack Sears Trophy champion Doble on 372 points with five wins, while Smiley sits just eight points back on 364 with an impressive nine victories.

With the pedigree of the reigning JST champion and both Restart Racing drivers in an unassailable lead in the Independent Teams' Championship, the quality at the top of this field could not be higher. This weekend at Brands Hatch, one of them will be crowned the 2025 Independent Drivers' Champion.
