At the most recent BTCC event, Silverstone (20/21 September), Cosworth and iRacing descended on the Northamptonshire circuit to showcase Pi toolbox - the real-world globally revered data analysis software suite trusted across top-tier motorsport - directly to sim racers and BTCC stars.
Cosworth and iRacing have formed a landmark partnership naming Pi Toolbox the official data
analysis platform of iRacing. The integration brings a race-proven tool used in BTCC, WEC, IndyCar,
Super Formula and even F1 to sim racers, complete with high-tech iRacing-specific workbooks,
pre-built templates, and sim-racing’s first live remote telemetry into a full analysis suite. The remodelled Pi Toolbox Lite licence will be available free from mid-September 2025, with the Plus
licence following in November 2025.
Throughout the weekend, several BTCC drivers sampled the Cosworth simulator to experience the benefits of the new partnership first-hand.
Daryl DeLeon and Mikey Doble were among those to try the new tool, with both drivers sharing their thoughts on the technology in the video below.
