The countdown to the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship continues and throughout February we will be bringing you right up to date on all the news that has been released so far.
The all-important event dates, ticket information, pre-season testing, new rules, new cars, new drivers and lots more… consider this something of a recap on everything that you need to know ahead of the upcoming BTCC season.
We’re kicking off this feature by noting our TBL Holders for 2025, which were approved by championship organiser TOCA following the entry deadline at the end of November.
Teams must hold a TOCA BTCC Licence (TBL) to underpin participation for each car entered into the championship and a total of 24 cars have been confirmed for the latest campaign.
As has already begun to take place, teams – in collaboration with the BTCC – announce full details regarding their own respective entries (drivers, team names and sponsors) during the off-season, prior to the release of the finalised entry list, which will be published by TOCA at the official Season Launch at Donington Park on 15 April.
The following is a complete list of the 24 TBLs secured by teams for the 2025 BTCC season:

EXCELR8 Motorsport | 4 |
Speedworks Motorsport | 4 |
West Surrey Racing | 4 |

We will be back tomorrow to mark your calendar, with ticket information, Season Launch and pre-season testing dates to follow later in the week.
