The 2022 BTCC Champion Tom Ingram has taken a vastly different approach to the 2024 campaign to the 'pointsy' approach of 2023. Last year Ingram took home two victories but a combined 17 podiums in order to keep his title hopes alive. In this season, the #80 has already amassed three more victories and is four podiums shy of his efforts of 12 months ago with three races remaining. Heading into the finale tied on points, and therefore amount of hybrid, with Jake Hill could prove pivotal with Ingram having the better average qualifying position across the season so far. All is to play for in what has been a stunning year from the Team BRISTOL STREET MOTORS driver.

Ingram’s most significant moment of the 2024 season was arguably not even one of his five victories but his fantastic charge through the field at Donington Park GP in race three. The 2022 Champion would start the race from 19th and make his way to second in testing conditions. The performance was stellar, similar to a drive at Silverstone a year prior which would also keep Ingram firmly in the title battle.
